What do coincidences mean?

These ‘coincidences’, what do they mean? Is it just random, or are our Guides trying to get a message through? Annoyingly, the answer could be both, depending on how it’s approached, but we’re going to help you track the meaningful coincidences here, so stick around.

This question pops up at least once a week in my online community, the Psychic Playground Facebook group,  and when it does I’m thrilled bevause the main objective of your guides has been done: You noticed! You’re aware, and now they can send you more messages.

Most of the time, a coincidence is a little poke from Spirit to see if you’re paying attention. We’re all guilty of zoning out, and if you’ve set the intention to grow awareness and develop psychic skills, then chances are, yes, you’ll notice more detail in general.

Coincidences mean you’re spiritually awake

The disadvantage of wondering if a sign is significant, or attaching a deeper meaning to a coincidence is, of course, the imagination runs wild. When we’re up in the monkey mind, imagination can leap from seeing a banana to the world ending in three steps. Overanalysing, running off to Google or worse; paying a psychic to decipher it will not only be frustrating but also feel hollow because you aren’t listening to your own intuition, which is like the direct phone line to your Spirit Guides.

Overthinking is kryptonite for psychic ability.

It’s almost like we have to do the opposite – let go, surrender, get all loose and dreamy to get the insights. Certainly get out of the mundane, habitual, everyday brain and do some goofing off and daydreaming.

On the other hand…When bells go off, get curious.

I had an experience recently where a name kept popping up and did mean something. This turned out to be someone from the Spirit world who wanted to make themselves known to get a message through.

The name “Belle” came up everywhere. On car number plates, street names, even on the radio. Later I drove through the town of Bellbird where the roads are named Bell-this or Bell-that. By this time it was getting ridiculous, so I knew Belle belonged to someone in the audience I was about to go see for mediumship.

Sure enough, Belle turned out to love wearing pink and was a lady’s grand Aunt. Moral of the story? With Belle, I did overthink. I observed the coincidences and knew the breadcrumbs were leading somewhere.

I’ve learned to surrender to coincidences.

I know that Spirit is in charge and the outcome will appear. It’s only a matter of timer – if I stay alert, I can almost witness the process as it unfolds. Same could be said for any series of coincidences…the proof of the pudding is in the eating.

Why ‘pick and reveal’ style readings are a waste of time

Those “pick and reveal” card readings seen on Facebook? They are a waste of time. Today I’m getting ranty about how talented psychics sell themselves short.

Intuition for the lazy

Ever wanted an intuitive message and nothing happens? Or the opposite – the mind races round every possible answer and nothing feels right?

Straight up psychic -

zero fluff.

Semi fictional story about me: In 1994, I had a midlife crisis, got a boob job and moved to Byron Bay.

Quickly realized there was nothing there but more boob jobs and white furniture, so I escaped faux-spiritual beach culture, went to Peru, and experimented with DMT.

While there, fell in love with a Shaman who was really a plumber from Padstow, but stayed because of attachment issues.

After following a raven out of the jungle, I holed up in a Scandi-style Air B’n’B and finally got enlightened.

Parts of this story are true.

Am I psychic?

Am I psychic?

Mainstream religion and the New Age actively sell the idea psychic ability exists outside of you, or only to a (chosen by them) few. This is a lie. Being psychic is part of being human, so ‘Am I psychic?” YES!
