Disrupting lies about psychic ability is my happy place and I’m about to get happy AND place the psychic power back in your hands. Mainstream religion and the New Age actively sell the idea psychic ability exists outside of you, or only to a (chosen by them) few. This is a lie. Am I psychic?

Other lies told to block our natural psychic access include:

Extra sensory skills happen outside of you.
Spiritual hierarchies do all the heavy lifting (think Guides and Angels for that one)
Its a gift
It’s hereditary (partially true, but if you’re human you’re psychic)
You have to be ‘special’
Psychic Ability can only be accessed through gatekeepers like the priesthood/gurus/spiritual coaches and weird activations. (We are not almonds and no one needs activating.)
Discovering the natural power of the soul opens doors to spooky demonic stuff. (The Church’s favourite)

Thank goodness Christianity foresaw its decline and quickly rebranded into the New Age, so now there are not only demons but entities and earthbounds to keep everyone scared.

The current world is TERRIFIED of a woman in her power. So let’s light some fires:

Extra sensory skills are inherent part of being human.

• We all have them.
  We’re special by birthright of being here. That’s it.
  We ALL get a seat at the table of psychic goodies.
  It’s a gift when we USE the skills to help our selves and others.
  No gatekeeper needed, not even me.
  It’s gobsmackingly simple and beware anyone saying it s not.
  The only demons to meet are the ones in the mirror as the soul journey takes us to healing places.

But am I psychic, though?

When was the last time you had an intuitive hit and it was right? The text from a friend you thought of last night?
Got the job, and KNEW it at the interview.

Felt the nudge to call someone and they really needed to hear your voice?
Pulled over in the car and narrowly avoided an accident?
Knew your pet wasn’t well and a vert visit saved their life?

The word “psykhikos” means “of the soul”. It’s a word we all recognise. When we are connected to another, our energy fields naturally intersect and this is how psychic information happens.

Some people are naturally gifted at things like singing or playing the piano. Some people, like my partner cook fluffy white rice every time and not make a gluggy mess or burn the pan, like me.

Psychic ability is like that too – it comes easier to some like metaphysics and maths is to some. I flunked venn diagrams as a kid, but I can read just about anyone (With their consent.)

Even if you make gluggy messes instead of rice, if the curiosity and fascination is there, it means there’s something that wants to develop inside. Those people usually seek out a course or a tutor to help them.
