How psychics do it: Commingling

There’s an essential practice psychics and mediums do to help them get the kinds of messages and guidance they want.

It’s called, ‘Sitting in the power’ or ‘Sitting for Spirit’, or ‘Falling Up’, which is how I phrase it.

Falling up, or sitting in the power is heightens our psychic ability and upgrades the levels of connection to a clearer and stronger wavelength.

It’s simple: Sit quietly and become aware.

Sitting in the Power, or Falling is up not quite a meditation. It’s not quite a practice. It’s something in between.

The practice was given to us from the Spirit World through a gentleman called Gordon Higginson. He was quite a medium, and trained many of the best mediums in the world today, and some of them I’ve been lucky enough to learn from.

But Sitting in the Power is a discipline, and like many others it’s hard to keep up the practice. So many things get in the way.

You’ve already felt it.

That place of feeling at one with everything, aware of everything around you. Not zoning out, off with the pixies or talking to guides, not even getting downloads, but a state of being very present and very alert.

Sitting in that power, we become aware of that magic glue that holds everything together. Some know it as chi, or prana.

Jedis know it as the force

We are blending and becoming one with something greater. That force, that animating aspect of the universe that some people call God, spirit or chi. That’s what we psychics do to uplevel our ability to bring messages and help to others and themselves.

But we’re very, very, very awake, and we’re very aware. So we’re not asleep, and we’re not off with the pixies.

How psychics do it: Commingling

Across from my house, there are big bins from the community centre. There’s the recycling bin and the regular bin. There’s another bin with a funny name: Commingled.

What a wonderful word: It describes how psychics do it. They commingle their energies and thoughts with everything else.

It’s exactly how psychics do it: They blend their awareness and merge it with another person, place or thing.

Psychics blend awareness deliberately, commingling with the essence of the Universe. We are all part of the same fabric of the universe, a simple practice like Sitting in the Power, or Falling Up helps remember that.

It’s a devotional practice for ourselves, our psychic ability and for our healing and for all these other things that we can sit for.

We all want better psychic messages

If you want better information and guidance, or as a psychic reader, you want deeper details and not run out of things to say, sitting in the power will fix that.

You will know that they’re there. You will feel that the information will come because all psychic work is, is blending your energy with somebody else’s and letting it co-mingle.

All mediumship is, is blending your awareness with another person’s awareness that just happens to not have a body, but their awareness is absolutely there.

That’s all it is. So your ability to co-mingle is going to determine the effectiveness and your satisfaction, your ability to serve other people as well.

Let me know if you’ve ever heard of the practice of sitting in the power, or commingling.

Written as a total heart project, this tiny book will be your guide as you explore the inner worlds of your soul and then beyond to connect to the world of spirit.

With small stories, hints and gentle encouragement, Falling Up helps you remember that you’ve always had that spiritual connection, and how to re-find it again.

Semi fictional story about me

In 1994, I had a midlife crisis, got a boob job and moved to Byron Bay.

Quickly realized there was nothing there but more boob jobs and white furniture, so I escaped faux-spiritual beach culture, went to Peru, and experimented with DMT.

While in Peru, fell in love with a Shaman who was really a plumber from Padstow, but stayed because of attachment issues.

After following a puma from the jungle, I holed up in a Scandi-style Air B’n’B and finally got enlightened.
