Intuition for overthinkers

Psychic work is something our souls do well, but our heads do badly. Think of the last time overthinking got in the way of a good intuitive flow. Intuition comes from a higher place than the mind, and that can be daunting over thinkers.

The more aware of the heart and soul (that also do much of our thinking,) the more accurate intuitive info will be. After all, the word psychic means, ‘of the soul’, and intuition really means, ‘inner tuition’.

Most yoga begins or ends with the hands clasped together at heart level, bowing to the heart’s intelligence. No mention of the head getting involved.

We can use the lovely yoga namaste practice as a reminder to let the heart and soul lead. Any other forms of mindfulness help overthinkers with intuition, like slowing the breath, noticing the sounds around, or simply unplugging social media for 20 minutes.

Adding mindfulness brings awareness into the present and reduces mental white noise. That automatically builds a soul connection. When we bow the head to the heart, we recognise there is a deeper, stronger place to receive and work from. And that is our intuitive side.

Still overthinking?

If you doubt intuition, or mix it with fears, or believe you’re making it up, you’re not alone. It’s easy to get confused, especially when we’ve all had that ONE PERSON destined be our twin flame and it ended in disaster.

But you CAN discover the difference between intuition and overthinking and get your head out of the way once and for all.

Hey!

Semi fictional story about me

In 1994, I had a midlife crisis, got a boob job and moved to Byron Bay.

Quickly realized there was nothing there but more boob jobs and white furniture, so I escaped faux-spiritual beach culture, went to Peru, and experimented with DMT.

While in Peru, fell in love with a Shaman who was really a plumber from Padstow, but stayed because of attachment issues.

After following a puma from the jungle, I holed up in a Scandi-style Air B’n’B and finally got enlightened.

Parts of this story are true.
